I just recently heard that Sharpie is discontinuing their Extra fine water-based paint pen! You can’t do it
I don’t think you guys realize how important that marker has become to hobbyists, illustrators, teachers and other art professionals. The control the pen allows, plus the extra fine tip, plus the fact that watermedia layers don’t wash it away make it the perfect pen. Please don’t take this away from us!
Hi Andrea! thanks for your comment- we have heard these rumors floating about too, and we don’t know where it started, but we want to assure you that this is NOT the case! We actually just released new colors, including Glitter, to the water-based paint marker family so rest assured these aren’t going anywhere anytime soon!

Thank you Caitlin! I can’t find the “Extra Fine” white water-based paint marker size though, so it looks like that it has been discontinued!
